Des milliers de victimes à travers le monde ont été mutilées par la pose d'implants de renfort pelvien ou d'incontinence urinaire. Ces personnes ont vu leurs vies brisées par ces implants invoqués, qui une fois implantés, sont permanents. Ce scandale sanitaire d'envergure mondiale touche plus d'un million de personnes chaque année. Devant un tel cataclysme, nous devons agir.

Nous voulons promouvoir la recherche afin de développer une alternative à ces implants. Aujourd’hui, les victimes ne sont pas suffisamment soutenues dans leur combat : elles doivent être accompagnées dans leurs démarches pour obtenir justice. Par ailleurs, nous devons lutter contre la pose de ces implants dangereux.

• Des complications en France estimées à 3%. 

Les victimes subissent un deni de la part du corps médical, ce qui les conduit inévitablement vers une errance médicale.
Cette errance est aggravée du fait de l apparition des complications qui peuvent être tardives.

 Les taux de complications varient entre 1% et 27 % selon certaines sources.

Néanmoins, 3 % de complications représentent : 30000 poses par an soit 900000 meshs/bandelettes posées sur 30 ans = 27000 victimes.

• Les arrêtés encadrant la pose de bandelettes ne sont pas respectés.  
• Il n'existe pas de centres experts labellisés pour la prise en charge de nos complications.
• Pas d'expert en retrait de meshs, les victimes sont dirigées vers des centres anti-douleurs.
• La commercialisation de ces dispositifs a été stoppée en Nouvelle Zélande, en Australie, en Ecosse, en Irlande, en Angleterre, et les poses ont drastiquement diminué en Amérique du Nord.

C'est une urgence sanitaire, un état de fait inacceptable. Ensemble, nous pouvons faire la différence !

PS: Cette pétition rend hommage à notre chère Élodie, qui a pris la décision de se faire euthanasier en Belgique afin de mettre un terme à ses souffrances. C'était le 23 Août 2023, soit 1 an aujourd'hui...

Thousands of victims around the world have been mutilated by vaginal mesh implants used to treat stress urinary incontinence and prolapse.

These people have seen their lives shattered by those implants, which once implanted are permanent. This global health scandal affects more than a million people every year. In front of such a cataclysm, we must act.

We want to promote research to develop an alternative to these implants. Today, victims are not sufficiently supported in their fight: they must be accompanied in their efforts to obtain justice. We also need to have the use of these dangerous implants forbidden.

- The decrees governing the fitting of slings are not respected.

- There are no approved expert centres to deal with our complications.

- There are no experts in mesh removal, and victims are referred to pain relief centres.

- Marketing of these devices has been halted in New Zealand, Australia, Scotland, Ireland and the UK, and the number of implants has fallen drastically in North America.

This is a health emergency, an unacceptable state of affairs. Together, we can make a difference!
