We the creators of this petition do not support BSL in any form, however it does exist in Minot and a lot of other communities in ND unfortunately.

The letter above clearly states the BSL law in Minot, ND which is located here:

Since 1987, there has been a BSL in Minot, ND. The shelter used to be outside of city limits and was not subject to this law. Since the shelter has been rebuilt and the city limit lines have been redrawn, the shelter is now located within city limits and is not exempt from obeying the BSL. Shelbi Waters knowingly brought up animals that are included in this ban. Not only is this irresponsible, but it’s squarely her fault that some of these animals are now in danger.
So what does she do instead of taking responsibility? She blames everyone and everything else around her actions.

The citizens and all other businesses must follow the law. SVAS is not above the laws that are set forth by the city.
