This letter was posted on SVAS Facebook page yesterday in the pinned post about the BSL. In response to a comment about pitbull/mixes being housed and adopted into the community, we noticed that there a quite a few that are missing off of their “official” list.
Comparing their public Facebook and Pet Finder animals that were transported/surrenders, we will highlight two out of multiple that are knowingly omitted from this “official letter”.
One is Bertha a pitbull that was handpicked by Shelbi Waters in OK and was transported here. Currently unknown whereabouts.
Two is “Paisley” a pitbull(possible mix) that currently a stray in Minot ND because of a irresponsible management decisions of SVAS. This dog has been “lost” from SVAS care. SVAS IS NOT LOOKING OR HELPING IN THE EFFORT TO CAPTURE THIS DOG OR ANY OF THE PREVIOUS LOST FROM THEIR CARE ANIMALS!!!
SVAS has proven with one of their previous “lost dogs” that they do not care about these dogs if they are “lost in the city”. Another animal rescue in Minot, Animal Enpowerment League, has successfully tracked and rescued the first dog “Lost Boy”. This rescue also successfully rehabilitated “Lost Boy”. Animal Enpowerment League is currently looking for “Paisley”!!!!
You may find this information on this page and help track down “Paisley” here:

Please sign and share to have a voice for these animals that were only dollar signs to SVAS. Real rescues in Minot care about our local animals and even the ones that are transported here. Thanks!!!
