Developers swoop on areas like the South Bank. The onus is on planning officers to reject ugly schemes. They did not listen.

However we need to keep up the pressure and request that the London Mayor Sadiq Khan 'call in' Lambeth's approval for this build to go ahead.

It is not just a local story or only impact on London but now a national story.
