Petition updateSOS: Save Our South BankFlorence Eshalomi MP listens to concerns

On Tuesday 15 February Florence Eshalomi MP visited residents on Upper Ground in their own homes to see for herself what impact the proposed new development at 72 Upper Ground will have on social housing tenants.

Florence listened intently to the real concerns and fears that the impact of daylight robbery will have on people's wellbeing and mental health living in these affordable homes. As social housing tenants, our neighbours cannot just sell up and move away. People will be left in the dark, and stuck in these severely overshadowed homes.

Thank you for signing the petition. If you can help us spread the word and encourage more people  to sign it will really mean we can demand that Lambeth Council listen to the concerns of local people. We are not against re-development  but we strongly believe that people must be put first when planning decisions are made. It looks likely this application will go to Lambeth Council around 15 March 2022.

We have time. But we need your help.

Thank you
