🚦 Is going it alone, leaving it to the Province to enforce and manage on our behalf, a gamble you are willing to take?

Do we support Sooke Council in going against what the Province of BC is asking us to do—the very thing that every village, town, and city across this beautiful province has collectively agreed to: Bill 44?

Today, as we honoured the legacy of a great BC premier, John Horgan from Langford, journalist Gary Mason reflected in the Globe and Mail:

"In the sometimes long conversations I had with Mr. Horgan while he was in government, he offered candid assessments of the realities of the job. He admitted that those in power often had no hope of solving the big problems of the day – homelessness, the high costs of housing, an overburdened health-care system – but rather could only chip away at them. Make them a 'little less' of the problem they were."
