While Fuji release firmware after firmware for camera's several generations old, Sony does nothing. Even easy firmware implementations like the menu system of the A6500 and Focus Point Link where the spot metering position coordinates with the focus area is not implemented. 

We buy expensive camera's, the least Sony can do is give us some halfway decent firmware upgrades!
