In recent years, Sony Pictures has been making various films regarding the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man and has started making films of spin-off films with characters from the Spider-Man comics, such as Tom Hardy's 'Venom' films, Jared Leto's 'Morbius', and the upcoming films for 'Kraven the Hunter' and 'Madame Web'.  Unfortunately, while actor Tobey Maguire got to return as Peter Parker/Spider-Man for 'Spider-Man: No Way Home', none of the spin-off films have actually included Spider-Man yet and there are no current plans to make a fourth 'Spider-Man' film by director Sam Raimi with Mr. Maguire reprising his role.

We, the fans, would like to see Sony Pictures hire Sam Raimi to be in character of Sony's Spider-Man cinematic universe and to act to the Sony films the way Kevin Feige works at Marvel Studios.  We would like for Sony Pictures to give Sam Raimi the creative freedom he had over his first two 'Spider-Man' films he directed that were released in theaters in 2002 and 2004, respectively, and to reunite him with his Spider-Man cast members, such as Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man, Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson, J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson and Elizabeth Banks as Betty Brant.

We, the fans, hope that Sony Pictures would consider bringing back Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire to develop 'Spider-Man 4' and other Spider-Man related films and to give Mr. Raimi the creative freedom to direct, produce and/or develop Spider-Man pictures and explore Sony's Spider-Verse with more care and planning for fans to watch and enjoy.
