I apologise for the lateness of this update. Many of you will be aware of this by now but if you are not it has been announced that Project Cars on PS4 will now support Fanatec Wheels! So great news for all of you Fanatec Wheel owners, it seems Sony have come around at least on that front. For the rest of us with Logitech wheels I am hoping this bodes well for us because if Sony have agreed to Fanatec support then they obviously aren't legally tied to only supporting Thrustmaster as many of us assumed. So what's holding them back from adding Logitech support also? All I can imagine is that it is Logitech themselves, who no longer build accessories/peripherals for consoles. Let's hope Logitech realise that pulling support for their existing products will only hurt them due to the sheer number of their wheels that would end up on eBay meaning the PC gamers they are now targeting will have no reason to buy new, not to mention the fact that flooding the second hand market with their products would cheapen them. I do hope this step in the right direction not only benefits Fanatec wheel owners but also has a knock on affect when it comes to Logitech. I for one am quite miffed at the lack of communication on this matter from Sony and Logitech who have just left the whole gaming world wondering. And they haven't responded to my emails and phone calls as the administrator of this petition. A company that claims it's console is "4ThePlayers" but completely ignores those "players" even when approached by a collective 13,000+ of them is not going to result in a good reputation, let's hope they realise this and stop their refusal to respond in any way. Fingers crossed guys, let's hope things keep moving forward and can end with us all getting the result we want and deserve.
