Hope you enjoyed the holidays. : ) We've been remiss in regularly updating everyone, though if you're following us on the Sonoma Valley Cannabis Group on Facebook, you should be up to speed. We'll give more details soon on how the city council is moving forward on the cannabis ordinance process. Suffice to say there is some movement in a positive direction. However, first, the Top Priority. This poll, really, should be taken by all of us. There's no reason not to�...and make a Comment..., it's painless : ) It's at: http://www.sonomanews.com/polls There's a lot going on in the world of cannabis now, especially since Jeff Sessions rescinded the Cole Memo. It's a signal to all of us that the less we do to strengthen our organizations and participate in pushing back, the more people are going to get hurt. Think of the hundreds of thousands of patients across the state and country who rely on medicinal cannabis for strength and life. Consider all the new arrests and the re-filling of jails that could result. Imagine what could happen to our local economy without an industry that promotes business and helps put food on the tables of so many. But, in the end, this will sort itself out and Sessions will fail. In the meantime, this is not the time to take our eyes off the ball with regard to our goal for a local dispensary. We can't stress enough how important it is to go to the Index-Tribune, take the poll, and spread the word to all your local friends. Everyone who reads our paper, and especially the city council and staff, are going to be looking very closely at this poll. Let's make an impression!
