To clarify, this meeting will include discussion on and a vote for funding for a consultant to assist the city in sorting through its options regarding a dispensary. The consultant would also provide information on commercial manufacturing and testing labs. This Item (6.5) comes toward the end of the agenda, so it's difficult to tell how late it will come up for discussion. Considering the council already voted to move forward on this investigation, it is likely the funding will be approved. However, though the council may have voted for Option 2, there is no guarantee that a dispensary/delivery service will be permitted. For this reason, we continue to encourage those who are able to come to this meeting, help fill some seats and even speak.
