Preparing for Senator McGuire meeting, two bills to present

Hello all,

I am looking at two bills. One that will address standards, preventative measures, and protocols during high AQI days that ensure all public buildings are safe houses for all natural disasters. This will ensure everyone’s needs are meet.

A second will address the recommended index for when excused absences and independent study will be offered, rather than a school closure. This will work well, only if the first bill is passed.

I have tremendous support of some County Supervisors, foundations and non profit organizations.

I will be presenting the broad stroke objectives along with an attorney, scientist and political leader to Senator McGuire next Monday. I will post the many organizations supporting this cause I’m the next update.

My goal is to get Senator McGuire to author the bills.
