By doubling these slots, SNK is actively strengthening the competitive ecosystem. This change ensures that the tournament showcases a wider pool of elite talent, rewarding dedicated leaderboard competitors rather than strictly favoring sponsored players.

The Updated SWC 2026 Slot Allocations:

👑 THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV: Expanded from 16 slots ➡️ 32 slots
⚔️ SAMURAI SHODOWN: Expanded from 8 slots ➡️ 16 slots
