Most of the people reading this petition are probably an average teenager like me, who uses Snapchat to communicate on a daily basis. Snapchat is definitely one of my favourite, and most used apps on my phone. Although, there have recently been a lot of complaints about the app, and a lot of people have stopped using it. Snapchat keeps making irrelevant updates that no one really cares about, they don't listen to their users at all, unlike other social media platforms. Here are three features that I think everyone would want to see be added to the app, ranked from most important, to least.

1. Being able to change your username.

Myself, and many others think this is the most ridiculous thing about Snapchat in 2020. Please tell me how, on one of the biggest social media platforms in the world, are you still not able to change something as simple as a username? I really don't think I need to do much explaining here, it's just stupid.

2. Dark mode.

This doesn't need too much explaining either, but this is something that I'm sure everyone wants, and how possibly hard could this be to add? Snapchat is one of my most used apps on my phone, and I want my eyes to be comfortable when using it. Also, it would seriously just look so sick in all black.

3. Digital payments or transfers, (Canada, USA).

This isn't really something the masses are asking for, but I've always pictured this being a cool feature that would be great on Snapchat. The western world doesn't really have a social media app that you can send money on, and this could be the cause of a huge surge of users on Snapchat. This isn't something that is absolutely needed like the other two features, but this is definitely something I would want to see in the near future.
