Over the years, many of us who have been using and paying for Sing! by Smule have been forming friendships and connections through singing - this was only amplified by the introduction of LiveJam. This allowed for us to finally meet the people we had been singing with, from all over the world, and form new connections and friendships. It pushed people out of their comfort zones, allowed for a more personal experience when singing and has been a source of enjoyment for many people.

In the next few days, Smule plans to shut down and remove the video feature LiveJam due to safety concerns for younger people. Although the safety concerns presented are fully valid, it seems unfair that the whole feature is removed rather than introducing a more rigorous system for safeguarding vulnerable users. Especially during this time, when everyone is feeling isolated and alone, it seems insensitive to remove this feature, one we have grown to love and rely on. I know many users have been united through LiveJam and are very disappointed by this abrupt action.

Sign the petition to stop Smule removing the feature, and encourage them to look into better ways of handling this concern.
