Dear friends,
My story is a rare one. I enjoyed the privilege of growing up with both my parents at home, caring for me and my brother, from a young age. My mother had left her job when I was born, because both parents working turned out to be as difficult to sustain then as it is now - without support. My father started a small home business when I was ten - and that is how I got lucky - to see both my parents when I came back from school, to see them 'share the load' in every way, and also celebrate the joys together. This could be the case with many more families - at least for a few months more than it is, if our campaign for better parental leave for fathers succeeds! (www.change.org/PaternityLeave
As the UNICEF campaign this month shows us, #EarlyMomentsMatter! If you can support this campaign today in two ways, we can indeed #LeaveInequalityBehind!

2. Tell us what you think!
Please participate in this short (5-10 minute) survey and share it with at least 3 others, who have worked or will soon be working in India! This will help us shape our demand better for what leave policies would work best. https://bit.ly/2IvDhZ5
Thank you - and oh yes - a HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to everyone!
