• What do we want?

We the CrossFireX community kindly request an update on the game, it’s state of development or for a member of the development / community team to reach out to us and say that everything is ok.

Why was this petition created?

Since the delay announcement in November of 2020, the community hasn’t received a single piece of news from the developers of CrossFireX nor are any of the “CFX” team active on Discord to provide us with any reassurance that the game is still in development, healthy and on track to release in 2021.

E3 is the biggest gaming event in the industry and with Microsoft teasing “CrossFireX” in their “Xbox Wireless Headset” reveal trailer and details of the campaign being leaked, we as a community thought that the radio silence was due to the lead up to E3 and something would be revealed.

After the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase at E3 there was nothing. No teaser, no hint or any mention of CrossFireX and the community would like to end the radio silence. It’s been one year since the open beta ended and we humbly request Xbox or Smilegate Entertainment for a sign that this game is still in production.

We understand that the project will be classified due to business factors and under NDA, however all we ask for is better communication. Even something as simple as “hey, we’re here and we’re listening” will go a long way instead of being completely radio silent since the closed beta and delay announcement.

If you agree that you want to see better communication from the developers (even if it’s just to say “we hear you”) then please sign this petition. The more signatures we obtain the better our chances are of the developers providing us with some form of information or just to check in and say hello. Help us achieve our goal so we can play this game we love and and are anxiously waiting for. Thank you in advance.

P:S - This is not a direct attack against Xbox and Smilegate Entertainment. We’re just looking to make our voices heard as we’ve exhausted all other avenues of contract.
