May 9, 2015 — https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2028347278/tohkbd-the-other-half-keyboard-for-your-jolla/video_share Some of you may have heard of JOLLA, the Smartphone coming from former NOKIA employees from Finland : https://jolla.com/ As a reaction to my last update on the new Blackberry Slider (new code name : 'Venice' ), i received an email from a supporter of this petition who has ordered a hardware keyboard for his JOLLA Smartphone, called 'TOHKBD - The other half Keybaord' . I hope he will also send a reply to this update here, and tell us how the ney keyboard does perform. Sorry for sending two updates in such short notice, but i thought this could be of interest to you ! UPDATE (June 19th, 2016 ) : It seems as if appr. 1,400 keyboards have been shipped, and after initial problems with the drivers for the JOLLA phone they seem to work fine. Some users complain about certain keys requiring too much force to be pressed, but in general the keyboards are working. Unfortunately the original founder of the project does have no plans to make something similar for another phone, what a pitty !
