The snow and ice are gone for the summer and now the speeding has already started in epic proportions. The speeding is excessive. Drivers are not paying attention to people walking, pushing baby stollers, cycling, dogs, cats, children in the crosswalks going to school and both the LDS and Catholic Church daily.

Non-local construction traffic such as concrete trucks, landscapers, heavy equipment haulers are using this street with large equipment traveling well in excess of the speed limit. They simply do not have the stopping distance for safety based on their size, speed of travel.  

Spring Lane needs traffic softening measures, like a four way stop sign mid-point, lighted crosswalks, lane narrowing in the school zones, "turtles" to awaken drivers, more signage, and staggered speed humps. 

we need concerned citizens to sign the petition which will be presented to the city along with traffic data that is being captured via technology on this street.
