Skylanders had an amazing start in 2011, and that only grew up until a slight drop in 2014 with Skylanders Trap Team. At that point, competitors had arrived with Disney Infinity and Lego Dimensions, as well as the longest lasting Amiibo by Nintendo. Soon, in 2015, Activision and Vicarious Visions (now apart of Blizzard) released Skylanders Superchargers, which was met with outstanding success, getting it and Trap Team full mobile releases.  But the Toys to Life market suddenly started to decline, with the discontinuation of Disney Infinity (as well as the death of Disney Interactive Studios) and the discontinuation of Lego Dimensions. Toys for Bob and Activision released Skylanders Imaginators, which received the worst rating, a 6.8/10. Mainly due to the decline of Toys To Life. Disney Infinity handled this well, however, and released Gold Edition for all three Disney Infinity games on steam, which ditched Toys To Life entirely, replaced with a simple digital selection of characters you could select to play as, instead of needing to own the physical toy.

The Skylanders mobile games included this concept, but it was quickly forgotten. With the death of Skylanders: Ring Of Heroes in 2023 (a random-chance type game similar to Raid: Shadow Legends) after it ditched Toys To Life in favor of buying random loot boxes for random characters, I say they need to restart and try again.  Youtooz released figures for Skylanders recently despite the series being as good as dead.  Skylanders references are even in current modern games such as Astro Bot, with Spyro's description being "Last seen in Skylands." and Crash Team Racing having a Skylanders based parade.  Toys For Bob clearly remembers the series, and I say we do something about.

I propose that Toys For Bob remaster at least the first four Skylander games, with mobile games simply being DLC or mini games.

All characters be either purchasable digitally or earned in-game.
