It has recently been discovered that Ty Hafan Children's Hospice in South Wales have had to cancel their much needed Sky TV package due to budget restraints. It has also become apparent that the reason for this is that Sky were charging well in excess of £7000 a year for their service. This has resulted in a lot of disappointed children in the hospice. Sky have been profiting from a charity that relies on public donations for support and their cause is one of the most worthwhile causes you will find anywhere. We believe that Sky should now provide a free service, as Ty Hafan have already paid too much for what should be a low cost service to assist children who are severely disabled or terminally ill, and the families of such children. This should also be extended to any other organisations of a similar nature who have been in the same position.
