Watching the scenes in Dublin v Kilkenny semi final yesterday, the issue of choice in the kit worn by Camogie is about empowerment, self-expression, choice and most importantly EQUALITY.

Referrees ( in shorts)  sending 2 senior teams off the pitch to change into skirts is societal suppression on female choice and needs to CHANGE. 

Playing Camogie has always been about demonstrating strength, skill, and unity and yet, the lack of choice in our uniform feels like an outdated relic of a past era that suppresses rather than celebrates female athletes.
