Hotels must create understandable and transparent guidelines

While my civil court hearing has been postponed till September-October 2019, my attacker was released free. The decision to let the criminal out creates a great danger to the visitors of the island and the resort guests. In Dominican Republic similar situation led to the released criminal beating a hotel guest up.
It is vital for the regulators of the hotel management business to create a transparent security regulation procedure to protect both the hotelier and the hotel guests. Cases of violence performed at the hotels grow but the lack of transparency and regulatory procedures lives both sides vulnerable, leading to mutual court and media fights.
The latest developments in Dominican Republic show 5 people dead and one being severely beaten up on the resorts territories. The death cases are handled by the hotel industry exactly as the Korkki sisters’ case on the Seychelles in 2016.
Victim blaming, cause of death falsification and accusations in opportunism seem to be the main response of the hotels involved in all the crimes in discussion. This has to stop! Do your job, stop covering the crime! Create the understandable and transparent guidelines on how to handle these types of crisis from both sides!
