Thanks for reading. I have been to Six Flags in Vallejo twice and am saddened by the way the animals are presented and held. Loud noises of roller coasters and thousands of people chattering simultaneously is no decent environment for wild animals. Animals around these circumstances develop stress. Vallejo, CA temperatures are not natural to at least half of the animals they keep. 

Let's stop treating these animals like children and respect their right to the freedom they so furiously want. Please find it in your heart to sign this petition and share it with those who care about our helpless animal friends.

Six Flags Vallejo amusement park has a white tiger in an enclosure under a roller coaster, visibly agitated by the noise, (as described by past employees and visitors). Their dolphins are sunburnt from swimming in shallow pools for close human interactions. Their African penguins are just feet away from a sidewalk where thousands of passersby gaze at them every hour of every day. Their space is so tiny it's surprising they haven't decided to walk off on their own. I haven't seen the eagle first hand but I have heard someone say it is chained so it cannot fly away.

The bottom line: Screams and roller coaster sounds do not create the appropriate environment for wild animals, whether they've been raised in captivity or not. Release them, and don't just transfer them to another horrible place. Animals have instincts; they will kick in and help them survive better than any human in the wild. If anything, send them to the 1,800 acre Wildlife Sanctuary in Escondido, CA, (San Diego Zoo Safari Park) where they will have room to roam.  

Let us raise money to help Six Flags move them, if the problem is financial. People will donate for that cause. In the meantime you can figure out another entertaining way to make up the funds. Try circus performers instead!

Please let's make this happen. Give these animals some peace in the remaining years of their life!
