For seventy years now, Sir David Attenborough has brought to our living rooms the earth in all its incredible variety. With the screening of his latest masterpiece, a Life on Our Planet in October 2020, he has given the world his witness statement.

No one has done more to raise global awareness of the world we live in, and the danger it is in. He is undoubtedly one of the defining figures of our time.

But though he has no plans to fade into obscurity, Attenborough's work is all but over, now is the time to build up support for the ultimate recognition of his contribution.

Al Gore won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007 for his environmental efforts, and well-deserved: but Sir David has done at least ten times more and can boast a universal respect and appeal.
