Hello Signers, we have 80 people who have signed, but it's not enough signatures to get Samsung Singapore to care. Please take 5 to 10 minutes to look through Samsung Mobile Singapore posts for people that are in a similar situation and looking for a refund, better swap period, exchange for another phone or colour and reply to their post with one of these below . Or feel free to say your own thoughts. (Remember to add the petition page - short link is: http://goo.gl/ybBDCc) Samsung Singapore customers miss out on same return deal with exploding Galaxy Note7! Sign the Petition - and please share. http://goo.gl/ybBDCc Samsung Singapore customers miss out on refund deal for exploding Galaxy Note7! Have your Say! http://goo.gl/ybBDCc Note7 loss of face worldwide is opportunity for Samsung Singapore to put one over customers. Tell them we won't take it. http://goo.gl/ybBDCc Fortunately for me, I am in the process of returning and getting a refund from my retailer Lazada. I used most of the material in the petition to put forward a case and it was accepted today. Please feel free to formulate your own email from the petition if it will assist you. Also, if you paid by credit or debit card (not cash sadly) contact your bank immediately. If the goods are defective (a global recall indicates they are) you should be able to return the goods and get a credit on your account. If you do return them to your retailer (preferably by post) make sure you do it by registered mail or the equivalent so it can be tracked. But do not delay, there is only a small window of opportunity to do this. Look on your CC contact number and call the bank ASAP (usually business hours for this) and explain how there has been a global recall, &in my case I travel several times a year and need a phone that won't be banned by the FAA Reason For Dispute: [_] Goods Received but Not as Described/Defective I received goods that were not as described or defective and returned it to the merchant on _________ (date) Here is a citbank.com.sg form that dispute reason is from. Your bank will have a similar form. https://www.citibank.com.sg/global_docs/prod/disputeform.pdf They only way we will get satisfaction is to get more numbers. Please look to share on your social network and hit up Samsung Mobile Singapore with as many replies and posts as you can. Don't be bullied. Good luck! David Dixon
