Day 5: we have 823 signed which is an increase of 176 from yesterday (Day 4: 647)

And we have just set up a Facebook group and would like to invite everyone here to join and share your thoughts/comments/experiences (overseas or even in SGP on plastic use).

Anyway, after posting this petition to several groups and individuals, I have received several comments, mostly good thankfully, while some are not-so-positive (one commented on the way I wrote the petition, that it was not professionally done and won't go far, which i admit it was written in a very first-person perspective) and some which i am still trying to understand what they are trying to tell me (whether they are supportive or not).

I was contemplating on whether to engage some of the comments (especially the not-so-positive ones) but after much thoughts, I decided that, given the limited resource and time, to dedicate my time and resources to try and engage more people to sign up so that we can get this done by this year.

And more importantly, I hope people can realise that this cause is also not about me, it is more about us as a society trying to solve a problem. And some of you might have felt the heat as well when you send this petition to your contacts and I apologize for it. Let them know, this is not about me and you, it is about a cause that we ought to have done years ago. 

Hopefully we can get more people to sign so that we can get this done this year.
