Petition to Enhance The Sims 4 Gameplay with Create A World and/or More Free Basegame Worlds

The Sims 4's has many world-building and exploration option limitations and i think we can all agree its quite lacking. Do you yearn for the creative freedom that came with previous iterations of the game? Join us in advocating for a game-enhancing update that brings back the beloved "Create A World" tool and expands the number of free base game worlds available for EVERYONE!!

Why Create A World Matters:

The absence of the "Create A World" tool in The Sims 4 has left me & MANY other simmers longing for the ability to craft unique and personalized worlds. With Create A World, players had the power to design intricate neighbourhoods, landscapes, and environments, fostering a sense of ownership over their Sims' universe. The tool allowed for unparalleled creativity, letting players weave stories in spaces that truly felt like their own. By reintroducing this feature, we can unlock a new dimension of gameplay, by re-imagining the passion and dedication of both long-time fans and new fans to the game!!

You even used to be able to download other peoples custom worlds for the game & use them too so you didnt actually need to create them yourself.

The Still Important Need for More Free Basegame Worlds:

While The Sims 4 has offered a diverse range of expansion packs, game packs, stuff packs, kits, etc. The number of free base game worlds remains limited to only 3. Considering the game is almost 10 years old! This is quite sad considering the options for all the other games. Even if we couldn't have "Create a World", having 1-3 more BASEGAME worlds would be TOTALLY AMAZING!!! Having only 3 restricts players' ability to create diverse stories, experiences & architecture without the need for additional purchases. By advocating for the inclusion of additional base game worlds without extra costs, we are pushing for a more inclusive and accessible gaming experience & bringing many more fresh new faces to the Sims 4 Community. This enhancement would not only celebrate the game's dedicated community but also encourage many more new or old  players to explore the vast possibilities within The Sims 4 universe.

How The Sims 4 Create a World, Could be Implemented

1. User-Friendly Interface The tool should offer a user-friendly interface, accessible even to players who are new to world-building. It should provide a range of tools for terrain manipulation, object placement, and road creation, allowing players to design unique neighbourhoods from scratch. It could even implement world templates allowing you to modify pre-made templates rather than creating them from scratch.

   Seamless Integration The tool could be integrated into the game as a separate mode or program (Like the sims 3 Create a World), The ingame mode could be accessible from the main menu. This mode would allow players to create custom worlds or edit existing ones without affecting their current saves. The out of program experience could be used in the same ways as the Sims 3 CAW (Create a World)
3. 
   Sharing and Downloading To encourage community engagement, the tool should include a sharing platform where players can upload their custom worlds (Like the Gallery or potentially even a section in the gallery) . Others can then browse, download, and incorporate these worlds into their own games, fostering a sense of shared creativity & community.

Community Involvement:

To ensure the successful implementation of these features, community involvement and feedback are key to success for this feature

1. Beta Testing Before launching the Create A World tool involving the community in beta testing can help identify and address potential issues, ensuring smoother rollouts for the feature.
2. Open Dialogue Regular developer-player interactions, such as livestreams, forums, and surveys, would allow players to express their preferences and concerns. This ongoing dialogue would guide the development process & greatly improve the outcome.
3. Minimum System Requirements Clear communication about the minimum system requirements for running the new features would help players make informed decisions about their gaming experience & potentially even making it so the feature was automatically turned off and explicitly and clearly explained how it could slow game performance slightly depending on hardware.

 

The Impact this change would make

This would Drastically change the perspective of the game for most people. As it would add a new layer of building, creativity, story telling & depth to the Sims 4 adding a fresh layer to this game. 

Doing this would improve the Sims 4's Impression & over-all rating itself by adding a VERY useful & NEW feature which would DRASTICALLY improve the quality of the game by being able to create your own worlds! This feature would be received extremely positively by all simmers & even bring back other old simmers who since quit, bring in new people to the franchise & just in general make everyone's experience better. This would add such a fresh take to the Sims 4 giving it tons more life.
