With CBD shops, suppliers and even customers being targeted by Gardai now we have actually seen a regression in policy. Its hard to believe that. Not only that, but no progress has been made to study this plant in clinical settings. The political will is not there. I have realised a lot more since creating this petition. Mainly about the interests blocking progress. How many of the heads of medical and physician groups such as the HPRA (health products regulatory advisory) are lead by the same ultra conservative, religious minded individuals that were against same sex marriage and abortion. Without any political ambition in this current government nothing will happen. We need to keep bringing it up with our local TDs and when they are looking for re-election we have to remind them they already promised action. We have to tell them we will vote for the party who will deliver. That is the only way to get meaningful action. We have to shame them and remind them of people like Vera and Ava Twomey who campaign tirelessly for legislation. Where theres a will, theres a way. Take care
