Hi Neighbours,

Once again it has been a while since my last update, but I can share some good news with you.

Harrow Council are indeed spending some money right now looking into the issues we raised with this petition.  As part of this, they are doing a 'community perception survey'.

Therefore if you live in Headstone South, in the next few days you are likely to receive a leaflet through your door from Harrow Council asking you to complete a five minute survey about 'how you feel moving around the neighbourhood.'

The results of this survey will inform what actions Harrow Council may decide to take (or not take!) to address the issues we raised regarding the large volumes of non-local traffic driving through the neighbourhood.  It is therefore very important that we all respond to this survey and highlight the issues that made us sign the petition in the first place.  Please therefore follow the link below and complete the survey before Sunday 1st March 2020.

I have just completed the survey myself, and it did only take five minutes.  Please encourage your local friends, family, and neighbours to also complete this, and let them know that the reason we are being surveyed is because of the petition signed by all of you (now a total of 430 signatures!).

Please spread the word about the survey, and remember to respond by March 1st.

I know that these things feel like they take forever, but seeing Harrow Council take action to understand our opinions is a really great step in the right direction.  Hopefully we will get enough responses to the survey to encourage the Council to take the next steps towards looking at possible solutions with us.

Thank you all once again for all your amazing support, this literally wouldn't have happened without you.  I will do a longer post in the near future to share with you other Healthy Streets for Harrow initiatives that you may find of interest.

Emma
