The FMCSA is going to try to speed limit commercial vehicles.  15000+ chimed in against it.  They aren't listening.  I want to collect as many signatures AGAINST it as possible.    Here's a few key points as to why it's a bad idea.  

 Trucks could potentially be bunched together for miles with no ability to separate.   Leading to clogged roadways.  

Car and pickup drivers could potentially be more likely to do something drastic to get around bunched trucks. Such as using the shoulder to pass, or taking frustration out on the CMV by cutting them off or forcing tight maneuvers too quickly causing accidents and most likely deaths.  

Following distance will all but dissappear. 

Drivers already pressed for time by employers and electronics will be more likely to do something dangerous and be apt to take more risk to save and make up time. 

Limiting speed isn't the answer.   With more trucks and more cars on the road more than ever before. The infrastructure has seen the least amount of change for the influx of vehicle traffic.
