MOAR - More Options for Accessory Residences
May 31, 2018
Tonight starting at around 6 pm the city will hear public testimony about backyard cottages.
Folks from MOAR will be at City Hall starting around 4:45 pm to help you!
There will also be members of other groups like Seattle for Everyone and Seattle Tech 4 Housing to support a strong, bold granny flat and backyard cottage plan.
Please read and share this critical post from Tom: https://www.seattlebikeblog.com/2018/05/31/we-are-building-a-backyard-cottage-and-city-rules-make-no-sense-hearing-thursday/
MOAR will have an upcoming work party to help folks comment. The comment period lasts throughout June. MOAR will be at the monthly meetup hosted by The Urbanist.
There will be a public hearing and open house at 5:30 p.m.

For 2morrow's ADU EIS Hearing, remember
Allow 2 ADUs per lot
Allow 2 more people per ADU (total 12)
Allow 200 s.f. more per ADU (1000 s.f. ea, family size!)
Allow 2' taller, and 2' more for green roofs (25' total)
Anything less is 2 little.
