Great News! Senator Mike Woodard has responded to an email that was sent to him this week in reference to our petition. Here is his response: "I have talked with some colleagues in the House who are working against this proposal. They feel they have a strong case, but nothing is certain. I expect that we will see the final language later next week. We will know then if opponents were successful in removing the proposal or if it has been modified. I expect we will vote on the budget sometime during the week of June 27." It is only because of every supporter that we will be able to make a change, so please keep spreading the word.
