Update: A Step Forward, But Recognition Matters

Since launching this petition in January, I’ve been calling on Canadian authorities to investigate Elon Musk’s influence on democracy and to consider revoking his Canadian citizenship if warranted. I was pleased to see that MP Charlie Angus recently raised similar concerns, showing that I am not alone in believing that Musk’s actions deserve scrutiny.

However, I wish that instead of launching a separate initiative, Angus had chosen to endorse and amplify this petition, which has already been gathering support. This isn’t about credit—it’s about strengthening our collective voice. The more united we are, the harder it is for authorities to ignore this issue.
