Thank you so much for supporting the petition and campaign to shut down Pornhub and hold its executives accountable for enabling and profiting from the sex trafficking and rape of women and minors. In just seventeen days, we have gathered over 312,000 signatures, and the petition is still growing by the minute!
The international media has been paying attention because this is an important story of great public interest. Articles are being released daily, and the momentum is continuing to build. If we keep up this kind of traction, I see us reaching 500,000 – and then 1 million – signatures within a short period of time.
This week, we launched the campaign website at www.Traffickinghub.com
On this new website, you can take the next step in joining the fight by downloading the Traffickinghub logo and using it as the profile photo on your social media accounts to raise awareness and show solidarity with the many victims of rape and sex trafficking who have been exploited for profit on Pornhub. You can also help fund the fight against the porn giant destroying so many lives, or even submit your own story if you have also been victimized by Pornhub or the Mindgeek network.
On March 8, International Women’s Day, Canadian activists have organized a demonstration outside of the Pornhub/Mindgeek headquarters in Montreal. We would love to see dedicated people from around the world show up for this important protest. It will take place from 1pm-3pm.
Not only are hundreds of thousands of concerned citizens and survivors from around the globe standing together for justice, but 75 child-protection and anti-trafficking organizations have also signed the petition to shut down Pornhub in the past few days, including: ECPAT-USA, The National Center on Sexual Exploitation, World Without Exploitation, Survivors for Solutions, Culture Reframed, Ruhama, CATW-LA, The Reward Foundation, The Freedom Project, Awaken, CEASE-UK, and many more.
Please share the petition again and let’s get to 500,000!
