Shut down Little Zaks Doonside

Shut down Little Zaks Doonside
The issue
I am writing this petition with a heavy heart and deep concern over the well-being of children and staff at Little Zaks Doonside, NSW, Australia. As a parent whose children have attended this centre, I have personally witnessed egregious instances of shear negligence and disrespect for the health and wellbeing of both staff and children alike.
My older child, who had been fully toilet trained, began to regress after attending this centre, experiencing daily accidents. The situation was exacerbated when a room leader told my crying child to "stop crying or you can go inside, I already told you.” This lack of compassion and understanding is deeply troubling. Furthermore, my concern reached new heights when I noticed that the child-to-educator ratio was inadequate. Upon arriving early for pick-up one day, I observed a yard full of children being supervised by just two educators, which blatantly ignores the safety standards necessary to ensure our children's well-being.
It is clear that the management and staff at Little Zaks Doonside have neglected their duties to provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment. This negligence cannot continue, as it places innocent children at risk and hinders their development. Incidents like these not only jeopardise the safety of our children but also contribute to a stressful and degrading atmosphere for the educators trying to do their jobs under such conditions.
Thus, I am calling for the immediate shutdown of Little Zaks Doonside until they can demonstrate through verifiable measures that they are committed to upholding the highest standards of care and education. This includes mandatory retraining for educators to ensure they meet the required child-to-staff ratios, and fostering a compassionate, respectful environment.
Parents in Doonside, NSW, deserve to have peace of mind knowing their children are in capable and caring hands. Let us stand together for the safety and wellbeing of our children. I urge you to sign this petition and advocate for the changes needed to protect our community's most vulnerable members.
