Who are all impacted? 

Residents living in and around Kudlu (Somasundar Palya, Hosa Palya, Kudlu and HSR) in Bangalore are impacted by the KCDC solid waste management operations day and night.

What is at stake?

Health of people including kids, elderly living in and around Kudlu and neighbouring areas in Bangalore is at stake due to unbearable stench and harmful toxic gases emitted out of KCDC. 

The waste dump of KCDC can anytime turn into a fire hazard in this densely populated area.

Demand

1. Continued stink from KCDC is making difficult to breathe. We have the right to breathe. What govt officials and elected representives are doing to ensure that ?
Our children and vulnerable population stand to suffer the most.

2. The post processed waste is dumped outside, kept open in the sun and its becoming a mountain of waste day by day.  Why is it dumped outside ?
Isn't that against SOP ?

3. What is the plan on KCDC shutdown ?  #ShutDownKCDC

4. There is also a news about biogas plant in KCDC, Kudlu.
With around 130 TPD (tons per day), we have this serious stink all around. 
With 500 TPD, can you imagine the condition of this area ? The biogas plants in other cities being planned are located on the outskirts of the city. 

We as responsible citizens are looking for permanent solution and not aggravate existing worse situation due to KCDC plant.
