It goes without saying that the pornography industry is pervasive and vulgar, having a range of detrimental psychological, physical and emotional effects on women, men and children worldwide, many of which are irreversible.

The aim of this petition is to shut down Hijab Hookup, a Muslim-women focused degrading, objectifying and exploitative adult network. All women featured within the network are obliged to wear the religious Islamic head covering known as the "hijab" while committing abhorrent sexual acts.

A religious piece of clothing, the hijab represents modesty and privacy in the religion of Islam and is worn by millions of Muslim women globally out of choice, for those very reasons. The crude combination of the hijab with porn is sickening and absolutely irreverent, to say the least.

The parent company of Hijab Hookup, TeamSkeet, has amassed over 100 million views within this network alone. TeamSkeet hosts a plethora of other networks that promote and feed into obscene fantasies and with support, we hope this will have a domino effect, leading other adult networks to question the nature of their content and ultimately have it removed.

We aim for the proceeds made by Hijab Hookup to be donated to a charity/charities which seek to tackle exploitation of women.

It is time to take down Hijab Hookup and hold its executives and parent company accountable.
