Fury 325 is a roller coaster at Carowinds, a local Charlotte amusement park. However, this dangerous noise polluter has been in the news for ALL the wrong reasons. Recently, due to maintenance negligence and the ride’s “design shortcuts” in the engineering process, this ride has shown it is a public threat. One day, a father noticed and videoed a visible BREAK in the rollercoaster’s support beam column. After hours of back and forth screaming and involvement with the fire department, the park was finally convinced to shut the ride down. However, it was only momentary, and the ride was fixed with welding. A complete bandaid fix for the situation. A few days later, another crack was discovered.

This ride WILL kill someone if it doesn’t get demolished. It’s on course to reopen, and if YOU truly care about the lives of millions of people in the Charlotte area, I suggest you sign this petition. This coaster will come down one way or another. Let’s just make sure it goes down the way that involves nobody dying.

Carowinds undoubtedly should be shut down & inspected for at least 5 years after this tragic accident. This accident revealed a disturbing pattern in the way this park is run, and this ride should NOT be allowed to open until every staff member, building, and ride in the park is thoroughly inspected to the highest degree. 

If you do not sign this petition, many people will die due to this hellhole carnival’s negligence. Don’t let another life get claimed by Carowinds or Fury 325. We need to instill fear in the theme park industry and let them know that this level of greed and disregard to human life will no longer be tolerated. Sign before it is too late.
