We, the undersigned, call for an urgent investigation into Sydney Leather Men Inc. (SLM) for their active, ongoing discrimination against femme, non-binary, trans, and queer individuals — in direct breach of NSW law, federal protections, Meta’s platform rules, and their own governing documents.

SLM is currently:

Enforcing masc-only entry rules
Excluding non-masculine trans men and non-binary folk
Policing attraction, gender identity, and expression
Hosting public events in venues without tickets, while applying private club restrictions
This isn’t “leather tradition.” This is public discrimination masquerading as kink culture — and it’s unlawful.

What Laws Are Being Violated:
NSW Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 – prohibits gender- and sexuality-based exclusion in public
Sex Discrimination Act 1984 (Cth) – protects gender identity, sexual orientation, and lawful association
Equality Legislation Amendment Act 2024 (NSW) – from July 1, formally protects non-binary and gender-diverse people
Meta’s Community Standards – prohibits hate speech, harassment, and identity-based exclusion
SLM Inc’s own Constitution – falsely claims inclusivity while structurally filtering membership by gender performance and attraction

We Demand:
A formal investigation into SLM’s governance, exclusionary filters, and conduct
Deregistration as an incorporated association if legal violations are confirmed
Immediate suspension of their Facebook group for violating Meta’s platform policies
Public warnings to any venues enabling or ignoring these discriminatory practices

LEAKED: SLM’s Not-So-Secret Constitution
The Sydney Leather Men’s 2025 constitution has been obtained and reviewed by The Rainbow Army. Why wasn’t it publicly available? Maybe because it reveals systemic discrimination, unchecked power hoarding, and more red flags than a Pride float at a communist rally.

We’re not dealing in hearsay — we’re dealing in receipts.

Read the leaked document here:

Leaked SLM Constitution

This isn’t defamation.
This is documentation, discrimination, and a desperate need for reformation.

Discrimination wrapped in leather is still discrimination.

Gatekeeping queerness, filtering gender, and policing desire are not “preferences.” They are violations.
And when done in public venues without tickets or transparency? That’s a legal liability dressed up as tradition.

We will not allow leather culture to be weaponized against those it was meant to empower.
We are femme, fluid, trans, queer, and proud — and the law is on our side.

Sign. Share. Demand accountability.

Let’s make it known:
The future of leather is inclusive. And it’s coming.

Signed,
The Rainbow Army
In association with Q.O.A.L.A. and The New Protocol
On behalf of the Sydney queer, trans, and leather community
