Summers this time have already taken a huge toll. Some places have reported over 50 degree Celsius. Sometimes, simple things can beat the heat effectively. We all know how white reflects away the heat while black absorbs it. Just by simply applying this logic to our roads, we can achieve up to 7 degrees fall in temperature. While we are copying the western countries in all fields from fashion to infrastructure, why not this simple way of painting road whites. Los Angles has already set an example. They used Cool seal, a white asphalt-based seal coat to achieve this. All we need to do is just put it into our system.
