The article is very correct in focusing on right to healthcare as a basic function of government service to citizens! India's central and state govts spend a paltry 1.2% gdp for providing this vital service. Due to this, India ranks a shocking and terrible 186th rank in the world!! Only 14 countries spend less than India does to provide health services to their citizens! Citizens and social activists should demand at least 5% gdp spent on health, and India has to rank at least 50th rank in the world on money spent by govt for healthcare! Jai Hind!
