Three bids have been received on 24 Feb for the tender issued by the PWD in OCt 2016. Any change in the height of the memorial will require revision of the drawings and re-tendering of the project. So citizens are safe that the expenditure is postponed for the time being. This will give more time for the Government to rethink about relocation to Cross Island and save time and money and at the same time increase the accessibility to the public.
