As an Iranian, I find myself at a crucial juncture in our nation's history. Having lived through the complexities of Iran's political landscape, I understand first-hand the profound yearning of Iranians for change. The recent statements by Roger Waters during his interview with Pierce Morgan, motivated me to start this petition to educate Roger on the true desire of the vast majority of Persians in Iran and around the world. 

Roger Waters has a global stage and an influential voice that could bring necessary awareness to the realities faced by millions of Iranians today. However, his recent remarks about the Iranian protests fail to capture the essence of the struggles endured by the people who are desperately calling for a change in regime. It is crucial to inform him - and the world - about the sincere desires of the vast majority of Iranian citizens.

The protests have seen thousands of courageous men and women risk their lives, stepping into the streets to demand their right to choose their leadership, to advocate for fundamental freedoms, and to call for the end of a regime that does not represent their aspirations or their voices. The grassroots nature of these movements showcases the widespread discontent and the enduring hope for change that beats in the hearts of Iranians everywhere.

ROGER, Stand with the Iranian people in their quest for freedom, which by definition would require the change of the current oppressive, murderous, and criminal regime. We would also request  that you not speak on our behalf, when you have not walked one step in our shoes. We are not Palestine. We are not Jordan. We are not Lebonan. We have our own problems. Come to iran and walk the streets of Tehran.
