This petition calls upon the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) to suspend Israel's participation in their respective competitions until it ceases its practices within Palestine.

Israel is accused of practicing apartheid, committing acts of genocide and ethnic cleansing, and illegally occupying Palestine.

Agencies such as the United Nations Human Rights Council have reported serious violations of human rights by Israel in the Palestinian territories it occupies (source: UNHRC reports). Additionally, the International Criminal Court is currently investigating Israel for alleged war crimes in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip (source: International Criminal Court).

in the last 15 months, at least 382 Palestinian footballers and at least 235 other sports people, have been killed by Israeli forces. In the same time, 147 football facilities have been destroyed.

The world of sport, especially football, has always served as a platform to rectify injustices and promote peace. In line with this ethos, we believe that UEFA and FIFA, should suspend Israel until these practices are halted and international law is adhered to.
