Make Lane Splitting in Ohio Legal

The Issue

In the state of Ohio, Lane Splitting/ Filtering for a motorcyclist is illegal yet it has many benefits. 20% of motorcycle accidents involving another motor vehicle are caused because of a motorcyclist being rear ended. 100,000+ motorcyclist have died since 1966. With is being said, if we could cut down at all on the number of fatal motorcycle accidents by at least a single rider and save a friend, a brother, a sister, a mom, a dad, or a child I feel that should be justifiable enough to push this law through. To keep our beloved hobby saver. Each year more motorcycles are sold and registered than the previous and that means more riders are at risk. In a perfect world if we were able to prevent all 20% of those rear-end collisions that would mean, we could save 20,000 Loved ones and allow them to return home to their families after enjoying their favorite hobby. As well as give the loved one's piece of mind knowing that their rider will be safer.
