Apparently shooting a animal in Saint Helens, Oregon and letting it suffer and bleed out for five hours before dying is just good ole boys being good ole boys... We have gone to the special prosecutor for animal abuse in the state of Oregon and he has taken over the case from the bungling fools in Saint Helens. Unfortunately he can only prosecute for criminal misdemeanor charges not felony charges as he could have had not the local prosecutor been so incompetent... There is another hearing this Monday the 24th. I'll keep everybody updated on where it goes. You can email the special prosecutor at jacob.kamins@co.benton.or.us to encourage him to do his job better than the locals if you wish :) I certainly hope he can turn this around, for as of now the Grand Jury and the local DA just told the world that animal cruelty is justifiable and set a precedent for the idiots who do such a thing to use as a defense in getting away with these crimes.
