Excellent turn out for the meeting today, approx thirty plus people and six officials from Amey and the Council. They announced that it was not a consultation, but two weeks notification and appeared to believe that this was a perfectly acceptable way of proceeding. It is not. Many residents and locals are still unaware that it is even proposed. Rustlings Road banks a public park and these trees are the heritage of the people of Sheffield. Today people were using the pathway with buggies and prams with no issue. Therefore we request an independent review for these twelve trees and proper consultation with a civil engineer to discuss pavement restructuring solutions.
