Dear Supporters, Thank you so much to everyone who came out to Endcliffe Park on Saturday morning to support the campaign and show how important our valuable urban forest is to the people of Sheffield. We have so many trees in Nether Edge now due for the chop, the majority of which are healthy mature trees. Save NE trees would like to invite you to come and support on the following dates: TONIGHT Monday 28th November at the Union Pub, Union Road. An informal public meeting/gathering at 7:30pm Thursday 1st December: Rally outside the Magistrates Court from 9am. When Calvin Payne and Simon Crump who were arrested peacefully protesting against the removal of the tree on Marden Rd will go to court. This will be a great chance to show out in number not only in support of the campaign but to defend citizens right to peaceful protest.
