Hello Supporters, 

I just spoke with the person who called for permission to print one of my rants about Hansen and his lying about not knowing about floatopia. She said,  the editor said, there was no evidence of my accusations. lol yea right! We know whose side he's/ she's on, and it's NOT the environment. 

Signatures have dramatically slowed down but I'm leaving the petition in place. It looks like the same crowd will be there again for the 4th of July. Let's see if the city officials AND event goers back up their words with actions. 

The lack of interest in how these poorly organized flash mob events impact the environment is evident in the number of viewers versus those who sign. Sadly a petition will not change that or their lack of concern and disrespect for the environment. 

My efforts to clean up ESVA beaches on my own will continue as long as I'm able to walk.  I hope each of you do your part in helping the environment in your own ways.
